  1. Hello all,Lately my CR10s Pro has been starting off each print at a different height. I am using the stock probe on a creality glass bed. I don't adjust the Z offset at all (example I always leave it at -.3) but it seems that sometimes it will print high or way low. To trouble shoot this I stop the print and drop it down say -.3 but it will still be way high or low. There seems to be almost no correlation to the height it starts printing. I of course have tried leveling my bed, lowering the sensor a bit closer to the glass and re adjusting the sensor's sensitivity with the little screw on top. One thing I noticed is that compared to my friend's identical printer his screw seems much more responsive in terms of when the light comes on. I turn the screw just until the light turns on but then it will take 4-5 turns the other way to turn it off. I know these sensors can be affected by all sorts of factors but it seems like this has really gotten worse lately. Do you think maybe my sensor is somehow going bad?
  2. could this have anything to do also with my support Z distance settings? or XY distance?
  3. That's a good idea regarding the 45 degrees above the windows. That's totally doable as that inset is for a plexiglas window pane and wouldn't be visible from the outside. I started using supports everywhere because I didn't have alot of success with clean bridging. Do you have any quick suggestions? I have to print in ABS for these parts.
  4. Hello all, I keep having my supports come loose on this big ABS train car I am trying to print. As you can see in the pictures I attached there is a overhang and then the windows which I am using the support for. A few times the support has just fallen out or had terrible adhesion. I also attached a picture of my settings, I was thinking of reducing everything by half so that the support is closer to the main body of the print? Does anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
  5. I haven't found the solution yet but I am now sure it's a setting in Cura, a friend sent me a file sliced with a different program and the triangle didn't occur.
  6. Thanks! I'll take a look at that. It does it every time I slice something though. It's not just this file.
  7. It does it after. It draws the line on the left, draws to the center of the bed, and then back to the starting point. Then lifts up and starts the actual print.

  9. I opened the G-code back up with cura and I see the initial line on the left of the print bed, but I don't see the rest of the triangle..any idea of how I would change the script?
  10. I am new to 3d printing so I apologize in advance if this is a basic question. But every time I start a print during the initial purging of the nozzle, my CR 10s Pro draws this triangle on the bed, I would prefer it to just draw a line down the side so that it doesn't interfere with the Initial layer of the actual print. Does anyone know how to adjust this? I'm using Cura 4.5 as my slicer.
