  1. Please let me know asap if you have had any luck with this. I am also printing PETG with Overture black, however I am using a 1.2mm nozzle. I have ranged temperatures from 235C to 280C, played with Retraction, speed, etc. I always get a little oozing that then clogs the tip of the nozzle when it slides scross an existing line.
  2. I have been stuck for several days on this issue using PETG. No matter what I try it is the same problem. I am using a 1.2mm nozzle, Volcano Hotend, on a Modix Big 120 and I am printing an object 1100mm long. Nonstop parts are fine, but when the extruder travels from one part to another and it crosses over an existing line, there is a little bit of oozing that wipes and then clogs the very end of the nozzle. It happens usually in the same spot. I have messed with retraction settings, sped 150mm/s across the machine, adjusted temperatures from 240C to 280C, and nothing seems to work. Has anyone printed PETG with a 1.2mm nozzle before and can get me the best settings?
  3. I have had a Modix Big 120X for almost a year and a half now. I will tell you it is awesome. I have printed giant prints (like 4 foot long) with NylonX, PLA and ABS. I found this site as I am having some issues with PETG and am hoping the Cura slicer helps. While I am looking for the settings as well, I saw TwoFiftySWB's comment and wanted to weigh in on your components. Immediately upgrade the bearings in your rail cartridges to ceramic bearings. I had shifting problems as well and it took forever to finally diagnose the issue. It is real easy to do.
