I have the same problem with this. How about a third option "Discard". This should ignore any printer settings in the 3mf file. Having to delete dozens of basically duplicate Printers gets old fast. My current "solution" is to delete any 3mf file on any computer using my printer after a gcode change. I guess after I stop meddling with my start and endgcode this problem will disappear...
