  1. Hi, after a finished print, the system hangs (no reaction on touchscreen) if you skip the cool-down phase. Ultimaker S3, Version 7.0.3
  2. Magnalube-G is the right choice for that. Here is some stuff from the Magnalube site: "...Magnalube-G grease, which continuously lubricates at temperature up to 130°F. Also highlighted is Magnalube-G's paraffinic oil that doesn't react with sensitive plastic parts..." Also no reaction with metal parts either... The print core is hot and the plastic right above isn't on room temperature. Unilube with its low viscosity is not an good idea for the print core. It is for the X and Y axles. The guys from ultimaker did some Magnalube in the right side print core mechanism.
  3. My 4 weeks new Ultimaker S3 has the same 'clack' sound while moving down the right print head (without a squeak...). Is this 'clack' also gone with the Magnalube ?
  4. Hello, as i read in several threads, the custom material selection via Cura (4.5) and Ultimaker S3 / S5 is still not working in an predictable way. Some user say that it is possible to transfer a material profile from Cura (after restart) to the Ultimaker which is connected in the Wifi-network, others are using python scriptings and GUID/XML magic. I wonder why it is so difficult to solve this issue with an open material printer like the Ultimaker S3 (S5). I'm using Cura 4.5, Ultimaker S3 and want to use the Ultrafuse Z PCTG material. My temporary solution is to load the material with the CPE+ setting on the Ultimaker panel and to duplicate/overwrite a generic CPE+ profile with the PCTG settings in Cura which is a bit weird for me. Is this still an open issue in Cura which will be fixed soon ? Thanks for the great work in this complex project... Matt
