I'm trying to print a model using supports for overhangs greater than 45 degrees. There are supports placed on top of the model to support overhangs above, but the support isn't connected to the model at the bottom of the support. This seems to be the case where the the support is placed near vertical walls or when the support is placed on a radius? If I print, the support is printed in mid-air above the model and you know what happens from there. Is there a setting to make sure that the supports are connected to the model on the bottom of the support?
