  1. What we do is separate TWO different stl files and simply put on on top of the other. Then set one stl to use nozzle number 1 then the other to use nozzle 2. A bit tricky aligning, but as long as you use the co-ordinates within Cura ( x and y the same for each model and z would set above the first layer - "Part Thickness" ) Hope this helps......👍
  2. Have you looked at the nozzles themselves? You using an AA0.4 or AA0.8? Try cleaning them and trying again, if it fails again, I'd look at the feeders.... Failing all of these and the print glass is level, next would be to look at the guide bars above the print head.
  3. I take it, you're using Cura to slice? If so, Click on "Custom" Then select the desired print core from the drop down.
  4. Hi Andrew, Is the Filament damaged at 1 - 1.5Metres on the roll? Where the extruder wheel has "grinded" it down or damaged it? That would explain the same position every time.....?

Have you tried the "Surface Mode" ?
  6. GhostKeeper's setting guide plug-in...... https://github.com/Ghostkeeper/SettingsGuide/releases
  7. If you can use a 0.6mm core, for the type of work you're printing, I'd go for the "Ruby" type. If you need higher detailed print you only have one option anyway...... The "Ruby" type is a proven design, we've been using ours for months without any issues at all.
  8. Hi, Is there a setting to stop this happening? This has happened on 2 occasions now. Never had this happen on previous versions of Cura. Using CURA 5.0.0.
  9. I was just about to say all that......DAMN!! 🤣 Does that mean I have won......?
  10. This is brilliant!! What a "cool" post..... My Answer: I have no idea....🤪
  11. I think to do this correctly, you will have to use TWO different .STL files, one for measuring tool and one for numbers, them put the numbers on top of the tool in cura.
  12. History is not stored by the printer. You could look at the printer (IP Address) from your browser ( on phone or Tablet ) and select "Management Console" Scroll down to "Recent History" and click on "RE-PRINT"
  13. I think it maybe related to these settings in Cura.... You need to select "ALL" Then change these settings:
  14. Can you not grip the "nose" piece (bridge) of the glasses, instead of trying to grip both arms? The current design, what material are you using? TPU?
  15. Click on ALL models holding the "SHIFT" key, then right click on mouse and select "Group Models".
  16. This may help: https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011427140-Loading-materials-on-the-Ultimaker-S5
  17. It looks like the filament is being restricted by something, could be that the filament has been damaged maybe by the feeder (remove filament and check for "grinding" marks) or there is debris in the feeder it self. Credit:
  18. When the material changes over, are you using the same Spool every time?
  19. When you say, "Took apart the material station" have you just checked the tubes only? Have you checked the feed system under the station? (black plastic moulded part). The only reason I ask, is that we have had a problem whereby, PVA had broken off inside the feed system and was causing errors on certain feeders. i.e. feeder 1 will take one route through the system (which happens to be clear, whereas feeder 3 (for instance) would take a different route which is blocked. Feeding in 8 inches then erroring out, suggests it may be this. Taking apart is a bit of a pain, but it's worth doing / checking.
  20. The answers are within the "Quoted" threads.. Have you read them?
  21. You're using a 1.0mm nozzle, what is the wall thickness of the "missing" area?
