  1. Thanks, so whats whats the temperature values (eg Printing Temperature) in Materials section of Print settings profile?
  2. Very new to Cura (and 3d printing in general). Can anyone explain the rational behind the temperature settings in the Materials section? How do those values relate the the temperature settings in the Material profile? I have the Cura settings guide plugin but it just explains the significance the the values. I'm I supposed to create a different Print settings profile for each material?
  3. I guess it's just me but I don't understand the rational of having the various temperature related settings in the Materials section of the Print settings profile. Am I supposed to modify them on the fly? Surely all temperature data should be in the Materials profile.
  4. Prusa do not publish a profile for their Prusament PETG for use with Cura, the PrusaSlicer default for PETG uses the values I gave. The filament box says 240-260 and 70-90 bed. I use Prusament because it's consistant and they don't gouge you for shipping.
  5. Hi New to both 3d printing and Cura, I tried playing with the various temperature settings but could achieve a first layer of 240/85 with subsequent layers 250/90. I'm using Prusament PETG and those numbers came from their PrusaSlicer profile for that material. I'm tring Cura because it has defaults for a CR10. I have a Sovol SV01 which is very similar except it has a direct drive extruder. Thanks in advance.
  6. I have a Sovol SV01 running vanilla Marlin 2 and I found that the "fix" above didn't work, the printer still waited for the bed to reach temp. This worked placed immeadiatly after the G28 M104 S{material_print_temperature} ; start heating but don't wait M190 S{material_bed_temperature} ; start heating the bed to what is
