  1. That's what I'm trying right now. I've sliced one model and it's currently printing, so if it works out well this may be the solution.
  2. Mari, I copied the CR-6 definition file supplied by Creality for their slicer, which is just the old 4.2 Cura running a custom skin. 4.7 takes the definition file but then everything goes wonky.
  3. It looks like, for whatever reason, the CR-6 definition file isn't pulling in the info from the Creality Base definition file? I can't figure out why not, though. I'm using the definition files for CR-10 as a comparison and everything in the CR-6 file seems formatted exactly the same as the CR-10 file. I'm confused as hell at this point.
  4. Okay, so I'm still having fun with my new Creality CR-6 SE. Machine is fine, software is a mess. My Ender 3 Pro has a lovely drop down list of nozzle sizes. On the CR-6, that list is empty. I am assuming that somewhere in the 20 or so definition files, there is an incorrect reference to a nozzle definition file. Where does Cura pull the nozzle size list from?
  5. I was using the GUI to input values, but your post gave me a better idea. I copied the .json definitions file from the supplied software build into the definitions folder for 4.7. I'll see what happens when I slice and try to print. Thanks for the help.
  6. I just got a CR-6 SE from Creality. It ships with an older customized version of Cura, so I'm trying to make a machine profile in 4.7.1. I'm starting with Custom Machine and using the values in the shipped version to set everything up. I can change every parameter except the Printhead X min and Y min. Those are set on -20 and -10 and I can't change them. Anybody got any idea what's going on there? Thanks, tr0g
