  1. The link to the Help/Configuration Folder does not work for, Win 10 machine, latest Cura. It is located Users/Your folder name /AppData/Roaming
  2. Solved problem, have corrupt desktop. I created a new user, Cura works fine in there.
  3. I uninstalled Cura to correct a problem created by a desktop error I had on a drive, desktop icon stopped working. I now have this issue on reinstall: Any thoughts appreciated Thanks for reading.
  4. Thank you both for your prompt replies, I realize now I was mixing 2 methods, and why the files are named differently. Diving Duck may not realize I am running 2 new installs of Win 10, not an update. Yes I have 'show hidden files' checked, all hidden files appear. Using cura to show the config folder does not work for me. I have found the config folder, and after reading the helpful posts above, I now understand where and why they are stored. Same as always. Thank you again for the help !
  5. Pasting stored definitions into the config folder shows them as type CURAPROFILE File, not the CFG file type that exists in the quality_changes folder. The pasted definitions were exported from Cura 4.* Any thoughts appreciated, thanks !
  6. Same using Win 10, have used cura for 2 1/2 years. using shortcut in 'Help" now, does nothing. I am trying to add stored definintions into a new install of windows, still not sure where they go?
  7. Can Cura 5 heat the bed and nozzle at the same time, while printing via usb? I have tried various iterations of code to no avail. Version 5 is working very well, thank you !! Terrific features and new additions ! Thank you
  8. Thank you for the answer, the \cura location does not state which file has the profiles? Is it the .log file? Thank you
  9. Thank you for the replies here, very helpful, learning Meshmixer.
  10. Thank you for the excellent discussion and helpful posts
  11. Thank you for the tip, the config folder does not show in 4/80 Cura ?
  12. Thank you for all the great work you do, did not mean to be picky, just thought someone could adjust along the way. Many Thanks !
  13. It appears that the syntax for X-Y Overrides Z and Z Overrides X-Y was not labelled properly, the one on the right should be labelled Z Overrides X-Y, should it not? https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012612779-Support-settings
  14. Thank you very much for the effort and detail in the files, they are very helpful. Will be adding some ideas for updates to your link. Much appreciated !
