  1. I just re-installed Windows and all my other software to get Cura working again. Pretty disappointing. If it happens again I will give up on Cura.
  2. I have similar problems which make Cura unuseable. Hope they can fix it soon. Attached are my log files. My problems started after installing Cura 4.8 on my i7 Windows 10 machine. I tried going back to Cura 4.7.1, which had been running fine, and it is now crippled. I also tried Cura 3.3.1 that was still on my machine and it is crippled as well. cura.log stderr.log
  3. A little more info. Cura uses between 0% (most of the time) and 0.1% of the CPU time while loading on my i7 machine.
  4. Cura 4.7.1 was running fine. I installed Cura 4.8 and 4.8 loaded and ran VERY slow. More than 5 minutes to load the software. Loading model files, rotating objects, etc. were painfully slow. I tried 4.7.1 again and it now has the same issues. I uninstalled 4.8 and 4.7.1 and re-installed 4.7.1 and it still runs painfully slow. I ran Creality Slicer, which is based on a Cura engine and it runs fine. How can I get Cura 4.7, 4.8, or any other version running again on my Windows 10 desktop?
