  1. Since I remember, Cura has absolutely ridiculous nozzle travel algorithms, I've seen it in early 4.x versions, and it's exactly the same in the latest 5.2. Once the walls are finished, the head should really move this way while avoiding already printed parts: Instead it does this weird dance wasting time.. Every. Single. Layer. The same happens for the outer walls, instead of a simple A > B it follows the contour. I swear that 50% of the print time is the actual printing, the other 50% is watching the nozzle move all over the place to fill a tiny gap on one end, then go back to continue the wall.. Can you please do something about it?
  2. Hi, it's my first post here and straight to something that has been bugging me for a long time. I would love to see an option in Cura to print top layers in one piece even when there are other layers coming out of them, I hope the images explain where the problem is. We all came across those ugly lines on our prints: Here's an example model: Even with enough top layers to cover that area, Cura will still print the edges around the smaller square first, then fill in the gap resulting in poor surface finish. Ironing often leaves the same ugly lines, only a bit less visible. Please, make it happen!
