  1. Managed to recover some the details with my old files. For the newer files I managed to embed that information at the end of the gcode file to extract it and use it when needed. Cura setting injector does the job, you can even arrange the information and sort the details as needed. Another option is Cura's plugin Export HTML Cura Settings, saves it on a separate file, details are well arranged and neat.

Exactly what I wanted, worked like a charm I didn't have to modify anything, just added the contents of the file (without the "instructions" section) at the end of the "End G-Code" in the printer settings... Now the generated .gcode file has all the details at the end. Although the save as html is also useful and produces a neat sheet, but then you would have 2 files. Embed it in the same gcode file will definitely reduce number of files, the hustle to look for and match the files, and mostly you don't have to remember to do that extra step. Cheers
  3. I'm trying to recover slicing settings for a project from the GCode. Cura crashes after the import, I tried multiple times with no luck. Still have the same Cura version (4.8.0); previously sliced and trying to import.
