So the idea would basically be that when switching nozzles/colors for a dual extrusion print, instead of printing out a big tower you could instead used that purged filament to create another model. Setting a model to a prime tower would set it so it prints first (as to work properly as something to purge filament) and it would print upwards. The features I'm referring to are implemented in PrusaSlicer as MMU2 compatible features. I apologize if I'm not doing a very good job at explaining this. But the PrusaSlicer features are pretty much what I'm referring to.
  2. It'd be nice to have it so that you could set the primetower in cura to be another model, one that doesn't depend on color/material. That way you wouldn't have to waste a bunch of filament since you'd be printing a model you wanted to print out anyway. Another cool feature would be the ability to have the nozzle wipe into infill which would eliminate the need for a prime tower. I don't know if this has been requested before or if it's possible, but I figured I'd ask since it's a feature I'd love to have implemented in the software. Either way, love Cura! Thanks for making such a good slicer.
