I also started having the same issue recently with Cura 4.8. I have plenty of CPU and memory; never had an issue with Cua before this version. Every 30 - 60 seconds the Windows window says "Not Responding" and it will freeze for at least 10 seconds doing almost anything, like adjusting an object's placement, rotating, scaling, slicing, etc. Cura will keep freezing and I'm not sure why.
