it just just suddenly worked for me. I just let it be and then the error message crash thing popped up and told me to back up the configuration file and remove the configuration file or whatever it did earlier. After that, I opened up cura and it works. Though my profiles are gone now. Any way I can get them back?

Any fix yet? I'm having the same issue. Idk if this is actually the cause, but I accidentally unplugged my sd card without ejecting while cura was still opened. Maybe this helps
