  1. Solved. I figured out the issue. Somehow "Hole Horizontal Expansion" being set to 0.05mm was causing this issue... I think what was happening was the tangent points for the large arcs were being pushed out which affected the walls
  2. I am completely stumped by this one. Every single file that I slice in cura will have these random over/under extrusions on straight walls. The artifacts do show up in the print so it is not just a visual glitch in preview mode. Does anyone know of any settings that could cause this?
  3. The issue turned out to be my "Overhang wall speed" and "Overhang wall angle." I had them set to 50 degrees at 50% and the letters had small overhangs that the printer was adjusting the speed and therefore the flow. When I set those values to 90 degrees at 100% the flow changes went away.
  4. Seems to be a cura problem... Still not sure why these are happening though. The wall is 3mm thick with 2 wall line count. Ive tried adjusted my line widths, amount of walls, my wall speeds, flow equilzation ratio, wall accelerations/jerk. None of those settings seem to have any effect on making the flow in those areas consistent with the rest of the outer wall.
  5. Its not worth it. It doesnt even have a carbon filter in it to take care of VOCs. If I were you Id just buy a decent air purifier for half the price and call it a day. I have the air manager on my S5 but I still use an air purifier.
  6. @gr5 Thats exactly what I did when this happened.
  7. Is there a list of official UltiMaker retailers floating around somewhere? When I contacted UltiMaker support awhile ago, they sent me only sent me the website for FBRC8. Really appreciate the help and the reply!
  8. Yeah no issues with print quality. I just ordered new belts and bearings for the print head assembly. Pretty sure they are on their last leg too because I can see dark grey/blackish residue on the rails. Also do you know where I can purchase a new z-axis rod? I havent found an site that sold them. FBRC8 sells everything except the z-axis lol
  9. Lol no kidding. Still prints pretty flawlessly. Ordered new belts for all of the axis, bearings for the printhead assembly, and servo motors.
  10. Interesting... I am dealing with a noise problem as well. Not the same sounds and not sure who has it worse lol S5 Noise.zip
  11. The S5 is around 2.5 years old and has had a significant amount of use in that time. Parts are still coming out clean though. I'm assuming the stepper motors are on their last leg and possibly the bearings in the print head. What do you guys think? S5 Noise.zip
  12. Umm lol are you a bot or did you misread my comment?
  13. Out of curiosity, what hardware issues are you having?
