  1. Thank you very much, that solved it! I wasnt aware such a setting was added / changed in between those versions
  2. Hello, I'm seeing this weird behavior of support being generated where it doesn't need to be. In previous 5.0 version this worked without a problem. I updated to 5.3.1 cause I had another problem with adaptive layers in 5.0. As you can see in the images, 5.0 generates the support material like its supposed to, but in 5.3.1 the material sticks outside of the object bounds. This is just a test object to showcase the error. I hope someone can either point me to a setting that might fix this, or for a future version to fix this problem. I've tried changing the following settings without any success: - Enable Support Interface - Support Z Distance - Support X/Y Distance - support Overhang Angle - support Density - Support Patterns (Zig Zack + Gyroid) - Support Density - Support Brim - Support Wall Line Count BB1ABL_TestWilfried_Tachohalter.3mf TestWilfried_Tachohalter.stl
  3. Found the problem. This appears to be caused by the experimental "Enable Coasting" option, that appears to have been enabled in the default profile. It's a weird way to display this. Can't see a way to delete this post.
  4. Hello, I'm trying to set up a new printer in cura. The Biqu BX. There is no inbuild profile for the printer so chose the Biqu B1 and then edited all machine settings for my printer. It works, but Cura has a weird display problem. The prints seem to come out correct, but it's almost impossible to catch problems like holes in the model before printing. The preview print shows pretty big holes at the Z-Seam. Here are some example pictures: First two show the problem on a XYZ cube, then on a real object, which shows these massive holes. The next picture is the same cura instance but switched to my other printer, with the same settings as the first image: Why is my new profile displaying these massive holes and how do I fix this? Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this issue? This problem is in both Cura 4.8 and Cura 4.9.1
