  1. Mine did the same thing and because it is out of warranty all I get from Ultimaker is "sorry about your luck"! Mine will not recover with the SD card. Ultimaker's position is no way the firmware did it. Facts: Worked fine pre-firmware update Froze during firmware update Only gives screen above when powered on Will not boot from SD card
  2. Thanks I ordered the components. I don't have the unbricking procedure and my reseller is less than helpful so far. I called first thing this morning and was told everyone was busy helping other people. They took my name and number and said someone would get back to me shortly. Well late this afternoon with no call from them I called back. Same person, super nice and perky but useless for information. I was told someone was working my issue. I said this is a known issue what is there to work? "I don't understand you found a solution on the internet?" She was politely stalling. Again she said someone would be back to me shortly. I then pressed her to define shortly... a day or two! Wow I will never buy another thing from them... pathetic at best!!!
  3. Argh, mine just bricked on a firmware update. First I got the error with the QR code. Waited like it said to resolve. Played with Cura, Updated Cura, no joy... Finally shut it off and when I turn it on I get the Linux screen of death... So frustrating on a firmware update. Quite honestly we don't print that much and a huge reason we went with the Ultimaker was we didn't want a Project Printer... I get issues but firmware bricking a machine with no reasonable way to quickly/easily resolve... serious miss! I am going to try the let it sit unplugged over night but not hopeful... argh!
