Hi, I'm a student writing a dissertation on the impact of slicer development, or more accurately 'An investigation into how slicer development impact the efficiency of a printer and quality of the final print' (working title). Using a number of different slicers, both mainstream I've plotted a prints accuracy + efficiency vs the amount of time a slicer has been in development. I Found that 'Cura' came out on top for both accuracy and material efficiency which makes sense as its been in development for years. Although not really mentioned in my study I was wandering if people had different ideas to me about caused this, or areas that have been improved compared to new slicers that impact the results this way. Curious to see if anyone has any different views on this?
