Ironically, I had just figured this out on my own and came back to answer my own question. But thank you for the quick response!

In Preview mode, other then dragging the scroll bar or entering the layer number, is there a simple way to step up/down one layer at a time? Some kind of key binding would be great, -/+, PgUp/PgDn, ect.

Having this exact issue, were you able to find a solution/workaround?
