  1. Any chance this release includes a fix for the material profile sync to the printer that never completes?
  2. Is there any advantage to having dedicated print cores (just regular AA 0.4) for different filament types? I’m thinking mostly about PLA and TPU. I sometimes need to swap between the two multiple times in a week. Does the UMS5 take the different printing temps of each material into account when changing filament so as to fully/easily purge the other type? For example, if the higher print temp filament is removed and the lower print temp filament loaded will any of the higher temp filament residue left in the nozzle cause problems?
  3. Can you slice with the prime tower enabled? That might help.
  4. Isn’t the CC core the one with the ruby nozzle? I thought BB was only for PVA. I’m mostly curious because I’m trying to learn if I can change out just the nozzle part of the print core.
  5. I am curious to know why that happens as well. I just went through having to change the filament 3 times to get it to run and load correctly. With 35 minutes left on a 10 hour print, the printer thought there was a filament feed issue. So I did a ‘change’ process and heard the clunk at the end of the loading. From experience I know it means the feeder has chewed up the filament at the very end of the load. I finally got a good load, by unlatching the feeder handle, manually removing the filament, clipping off all the material that was forward of the brutal chew marks, and re-inserting the filament all the way to the print core. Would be great to know why it happens so I can fix it quicker and not waste 1m+ of filament.
  6. I finally stopped the sync process. Attached is the log file. Hopefully something in there can help track down the issues. I did take a peek at the log and it looks like something (output device) is constantly timing out < shrug > cura.log
  7. Hi @MariMakes, Thanks for your reply. No, I’ve not yet been able to sync/upload material profiles to the printer. I’ve installed the remote support plugin and am currently running the CPU profiling while syncing. So far it’s been running for … maybe 5 minutes or more. The MacOS activity monitor screenshot is attached. It’s an Apple M1 macbook pro (13-inch, M1, 2020 with 16GB memory running Monterey 12.5.1) How long is it supposed to take to sync one or two custom materials (one TPU and one PLA)
  8. All of a sudden my iOS Ultimaker app (iPhone) is launching a YouTube video every time I try to access the app to check my printer status. Is there any way to clear or reset this? Do I need to delete the app and re-install?
  9. I have an UMS5 and am trying to sync some new materials from Cura 5 to my printer. I have confirmed that my printer is on and connected via cloud to Digital Factory. I believe wifi is also enabled. The firewall is off. I start the sync process and it just sits here forever. Any suggestions for things to try?
  10. Was there anything specific on the usb stick? My S5 is stuck at the black Ultimaker screen. Was working fine last time it was on. Powered it up today and it won't complete the boot process. No errors on the screen, just seems stuck.
  11. Thanks Smithy! I will await a future update with fix. Good to know it's not just me.
  12. When I rotate a model on the build plate the numbers (for degrees of rotation) display all garbled and unreadable. I noticed the same thing in the preferences panel (screenshot attached) after I clicked around in the panel a bit). Is there anyway to reset how this text is displayed or is it a bug? MacBook Pro M1 Cura 4.10.0 Thanks, Karla
