I turn to this forum with a question, because I - even after a long search - unfortunately found no answer on the WWW.
The following is about a two-component print with PLA and PVA, in which (purely exemplary) the well-known PVA_cube (see figure "PVA_part") is to be created.
Due to the necessary use of wide-area support (see figure "PVA_end product"), the layer is started with the PVA material several times during printing.
This problem then occurs every second layer, since a change after completion of a layer is of course inefficient. However, the various positioning movements take place over the - in this layer - not yet printed part (see figure "PVA_Movement").
Since the distance between the end and the start of the new PVA web is so short, threads are drawn which, due to inclusions, have a negative influence on the overall result of the finished component.
So now I was looking for an option in the sense of "For each layer, first print the part, then the support" or "Extruder x always starts before extruder y".
I'm sure there is still room for improvement in the material settings, but it would be much easier if it didn't print the paths of the part to be printed in this layer.
