  1. I would love if this feature was implemented. As I live in an apartment complex with thin walls, my neighbors can hear my S3 at night through the walls. Therefore, I actively try to avoid printing overnight when possible. If there was a way to schedule a print, I could have it start printing first thing in the morning automatically before I even wake up to get ready for work, and I will be able to ensure the print is printing without issue before I leave for the day. (Before someone suggests it- yes, I could just wake up earlier, but I'm really not a morning person and that's not changing anytime soon). I think there are a lot of other use cases too, especially If this is implemented with a way to blackout specific hours. For example, a print farm may have scheduled electrical maintenance in which all the printers will have to be offline during a specific window. The user could blackout those hours on the printers and any job in the queue that would overlap those hours would get scheduled until after the window passes.
  2. I already gave up on this ever happening. However, I upgraded my firmware today and afterwards the noise from the printer was gone. I then went into panic, I must be experiencing hearing loss as I no longer can hear the hum of my printer's fan noise when idle. To restore my sanity, I checked the firmware update logs and to my surprise "Fixed the situation whereby the print head fans were turned off but still kept making electronic noise" was included in the fixes. Therefore, I would like to thank everyone in this thread who helped make this a reality. I appreciate the effort everyone put into making this a reality, our ears can now experience quietness again.
  3. I have the same exact issue, I've been turning the printer off when its not in use because I have sensitive hearing and the high pitch is very annoying to me. If this can be fixed via a firmware update I would appreciate it very much.
