  1. I'm a macbook user. My issue is when i'm trying to focus in on a point like the bottom of my helmet on the build plate my cura doesn't want to zoom in on the points i'm trying to focus on. i've looked through my 'view' and 'edit' functions but haven't been able to find anything that allows me to scroll up and down to be able to view things up close. holding right click and draging allows me to spin the plate around. but just can't seem to focus where i need to. any suggestions or fixes is greatly appreciated.
  2. yea for sure! i've been reading alot abbout that. so i been keepig them in their origial package with those packs that come with, and seal them up and puit them in a plastic storage been i got. and some in zip locks of course. and in iowa right now its super dry any way...but i'm sure i'll have to be more careful in our hot humid summers.
  3. i really appreciate that info! i had tried 215 but perhaps i was printing too fast for the print. my print would just stop for no reason on silk pla so i figured that it was getting stuck because it was cooling too quick so i had turned down the fan to 80 percent and turned down flow 80% and that had printed out a skull of mine just fine...i've only had two successful prinnts with the gold silk pla i have...i gave up on it but I will try the setting you use to see if that makes a difference in the prints.
  4. i think it might have been my silk yellow gold filament by giantarm from amazonn... idk but after i got through the spool a little bit the issue stopped happening. now i just need to learn how to print silk and not mess it up... i'm assuming silk is softer and needs to burn at 190 maybe? its been the hardest filament to print, i kind of just gave up on it and am usinng generic PLA though i would really like to have more prints in silk.
  5. Since i upgraded from cura 4.12 to 4.13 i've been experiencing my prints stopping in the middle. No clogs, no jams, no issues with filament passing through. I've researched and saw that it may be the SD card and when i've switched SD card i still get a print that stops midway. When i look at my print information screen the file name disappears. I cannot resume or continue at this point and the only thing i can do is shut my printer off and start over. I'm on a back 2017 monteray 12.1 printer is anycubic chiron just recently purchased (all belts and nozzle housing is tight/taught as it should be, gears are solid feeding extruder) generic black PLA 200c nozzle and 60c bed (had it stop mid print) silk gold PLA by giantarm 200-205c nozzle/ 60-70c bed (stops midprint) i'm at a loss and when researching troubleshoots every one talks about jams and clogged nozzles but i've looked this over multiple times and no issues with extruder or filament coming through. any help is greatly appreciated.
