  1. Good day guys! I have a problem when I try to print the pattern to do the XY offset calibration, the pattern is not printing correctly (see photo). I could see that the print head is not touching very well the plate when it is printing. Do you know what is the possible cause? Thanks in advance.
  2. Hello! I have problems merging three pieces in Ultimaker Cura. Two pieces merge fine but the other one does not. Modifying the origin would take me much time, so I want to know if I move the third piece manually to assemble it, will it adhere correctly? Thank you 🙂
  3. I am triyng to test the adherence between Tough PLA and TPU95A. I made two blocks in solidworks and in Ultimaker Cura I put the two blocks joined by one face defining coordinates. In the prepare stage the blocks seem be together but in the preview stage, I can see a little gap between the blocks (Image 1). When I obtained the printed part, the result is not good (Image 2, 3, 4 and 5) because the blocks get separate between them (only the first layer get continue joined) but I do not know if the cause is the configuration in ultimaker cura or do not exist good adherence between the materials. Do you know which can be the reason? Is there another way to configure the geometry and have a half with Tough PLA and the other half with TPU95A? Thank you!
  4. Good day guys I have to print the model (image attached) with Tough PLA and TPU95A (black platelets with Tough PLA and the white matrix with TPU95A). I have checked the compatibility between them in the technical information but it is not supported. Can you recommend me some tests in the printer before to print the final model? How can I conclude that the compatibility is good? I appreciate your orientation. Regards.
  5. Hi Greg Thanks a lot for answer me. I have checked and the PLA (white material) was stuck. I have had many problems with the printer. I have a question related with the quality of the tough PLA (black material). It is normal that when I load the material extrudes like in the second and third photo?. That is the reason of the defects? I have modified the feeder tension (marker in the bottom, in the middle and in the upper position) and I have cleaned the print core and in all cases occurs the same. I do not what is happening. I post the 3mf file here. Thanks for your help. Prueba5.3mf
  6. Good day guys With the feeder tension correction the results were worst. The PLA (white material) seems like did not make all the layers. I do not know what happen, in the preview everything looks fine apparently. Do you know how to correct this? Regards.
  7. Good day guys. Thanks for your replies. I checked the tension in both feeders and were not in the middle position. I have already corrected it. I am going to try again and I will let you know. The black material is tough PLA and the white material is PLA. I am testing the reproduction of this kind of geometry in the printer. With regard to the settings I only have changed combing and retraction parameters: combing mode within infill instead of all and retract at layer change active instead of inactive. I have played with the top/bottom and infill pattern too. Thanks, again.
  8. Hi guys! I need your help. I have tried to print the geometry in the photos but I have obtained some defects (highlighted in red). I don't know if the cause is the printing temperature or the build temperature or the travel parameters. I have put the file project for your revision. Please I need a clue. Thanks! Prueba5.3mf
  9. Hi guys I need help with the next problem. One print head is dragging the material that is being printed over the piece (rough lines in the picture). I do not know if it is my impression but I see the right print head downer than the other one (photo with the yellow mark). How can I fix that? Regards.
  10. Hi gr5, thanks for answer Here you are the file. I did not use walls. So you mean that is not a problem of calibration, it is rather a problem of the parameters of printing?. Thanks a lot! UMS5_Rectángulo80_6.3mf
  11. Good day guys I come here to request help for the next problem. I printed a simple rectangular piece with rounded corners. The result was a distorted piece (photo with the green line), so I did a XY calibration with the grid pattern. Again, I tried to print the same simple rectangular piece but with less height and the result is distorted too (photo with the piece over the desk). What can I do to fix this problem? Regards.
