  1. I would really love to have the option for dual extruder systems to allow different layer heights for parts of the model that are highly detailed vs fill. I see there is an option to set the infill layer height to be a multiple of the normal height and you can set which extruder to use. I could really use the option for a more broad use. My left extruder uses a 0.5mm and my right extruder is using a 0.2mm which is working fantastic. The issue is the layer height for my 0.5mm is restricted by the 0.2mm nozzle. Mechanically, I don't see why there would be a problem setting the 0.5mm nozzle to 0.4mm layer height and the 0.2mm nozzle to a 0.1mm layer height and just do 1 layer for every 4 of the other. It would be such a useful feature for many of the things I'm currently doing and would speed up my prints drastically.
  2. I'm pulling my hair out trying to get z hop settings correct. It's so close to what I need but not quite. I have an IDEX printer and I'm trying to get the extruders to Z hop into the print and then Z hop out of it, but I don't want any Z hop while it's retracting. The Z hop at extruder switch pulls the head up out of the print before it moves out of the way, which is correct, and then it lowers the Z axis and moves the active extruder across the print. The result is I get little specs all over the print from the ooze as it wipes itself across the outer shell. I've been able to get it to work by checking the "z hop when retracted" and "retract at layer change" which will pull it up before it enters the print, but then it's also doing a z hop every few seconds with every little retraction as it prints, leaving stringing everywhere. Is there a way to get it to "z hop at extruder switch" but not lower the z axis until it's over the portion it's going to start printing on?
