I am a 3D novice. After installing the Micro Swiss Direct Drive Extruder, I modified my g-code in Cura Ultimaker and dug myself deeper and deeper into a hole including reversing the movement of the X and Y stepper motors and stuffing up the head offsets. Everything I tried seem to make the problem worse. On another forum I was told I would have to install a bootloader, flash new firmware and start from scratch. So I bought an Arduino Uno and the patch cables, downloaded all the files etc, then couldn't get it to compile for my 8-bit CPU. Sorry, long story. Anyway I was about to give up, then I started looking for example g-codes and found your post. It worked perfectly. Thank you so much.
