  1. Hi Guys, I do still have this problem, with slight curves (but also bigger ones) cura stutters, stops at every gcode point and sometimes even moves a bit back and forward again. As i am using a post processor to change the code from XY > XYZ movements (FFF 45 degree printer) i cannot use arc moves Hoping someone still cares about this problem. Had it on cura 5.2.1 and on 5.6.0 Other slicers do not have the same problem but for instance, prusaslicer doesnt go bigger that 1,2x1,2m so thats a no go for me. Kind regards!
  2. Finally hired a company from the Netherlands, DotX. To build the slicer for me. So for anyone with the same problem / questions... DotX got the answer for a good price.
  3. @ahoeben some toughts on this? I’m on the edge of hiring a developer bc i’m out of options…
  4. Hi Guys, I'm currently designing and testing (at small scale) a XXXL 3D printer. I want to print at a 45'' degree angle (like a belt printer) but with the big size of the printer it is not possible to angle the whole system 45''. I only want to change the hotend / nozzle in a 45'' angle. This is currently not possible with any of the standard slicers. Does anybody have an option or idea to print with a 'normal' cartesian printer with a 45'' tilted nozzle? Would love to be able to do this with Cura. PS: anybody who's wondering.. the printer will have a print volume of WxHxL: 3,5 x 2,9 x 12 meters with a 10mm nozzle Kind regards, Sten Kluts
  5. Hi guys, i'm Sten from the Netherlands and i'm building an XXXXL printer WxHxL: 3x3x11 meters. On this printer i want to print in a 45'' angle. only the hotend/nozzle will be tilted, the rest of the system will be like a regular 3D printer. Doing research i came across this thread with great hopes. At the moment i can find basically nothing regarding this way of printing.... @ahoeben i hope you're doing better these days. i understand the seriousness of a burnout. If so, can you provide any update or solution / workaround? Kind regards, Sten
