  1. I'm wondering if I'm missing something here because no matter what I change with respect to the top/bottom layer height, it has no effect. I can adjust all of the layers and the initial layer, but adjusting the top/bottom/infill layers just retains the primary layer height. I've tried disabling adaptive layers as well, that has no effect either. I've tried on Cura 5.2.1 and just now on 5.3.
  2. I'm having an issue which I've experienced in the past with the top layer/skin not extending below the features above. It basically masks out the above feature with an outline in the top skin. It's kind of random, but I've tried using a couple real models and a test model that I have pictured, designed in Fusion 360. I've noticed that in this example, if I change the line width to .40, it's fine, anything less for the top skin, then this occurs. The main issue is that it creates a much rougher face as it's basically stopping and starting around all of the letters. I've tried every setting imaginable (Skin Overlap Percentage, Expand Distance, Removal Width, etc.) which seems to have zero effect. The top picture is with a .28 line width for the skin, the bottom is with a .40 line width.
