  1. What is the voltage of the capacitive sensor of the UM S5? we are servicing one for a client and it looks like the heatsink fan and the capacitive sensor plugs were swapped with eachother at some point, and i am wondering if this may have damaged the sensor. i also ran the sensor diagnostic test 3 times and got results of 5.1, 5.8, and 3.4, it is odd that they vary so wildly. the machine also says it cannot print as the homing function was unable to work properly when starting a print.
  2. i am servicing a S5 3d printer for a client and have got to the point of doing a test print, but it keeps saying it cannot do the active levelling and cancels the print, i would like to bypass the auto levelling to do the print to check of things are working now. i know this is a new problem it has now but i would like to confirm the other fixes by doing a test print first. on a related note, turns out the hotend fan and the capacitive sensor plugs had been previously swapped with eachother. what are the chances the capacitive sensor has been damaged by being plugged into the heatsink fan port?
  3. the only way i as able to actually find and use a load command that fully loaded the filament to the nozzle was to unplug the materia lstatin and bypass it entirely, then the touchscreen gave me an option to load the filament
  4. thanks for the info! ill definitely take a look, and yes i fully heated the hotend and manually pushed some filament through it and the fan did not turn on
  5. yes i do this but it only pulls the filament in a few millimeters and then stops. and i cannot find a way of making it insert filament all the way to the nozzle
  6. i am servicing a UM S5 3d printer for a client and the heatsink cooling fan does not turn on when printer is idling, nor does it turn on when the printer is heated up. i replaced the fan as it was completely gummed up with gunk and the new fan still does not spin during idle nor does it spin up during preheating.
  7. i am servicing an ultimaker s5 with the material station for a client and cannot find any command to actually load filament into the machine, the only load/unload commands are for the print cores themselves
