  1. I think I found it. in the quality dir there are the necessary settings and there the values need to be added to do the 0.8 core. That is also looked up by cura.
  2. After unlinking, the profile did have a unique GUID, yes. It seems that if the profile extends another profile Cura generates it with the same GUID.
  3. Hi, I'm trying to alter the Addigy F2045 profile to also print with the AA 0.8 core. Maybe using a bigger nozzle improves the printing qualities of the soft material. I created a separate material profile and unlinked it. In the profile I set the hardware compatible flag for the AA 0.8 core to yes. Unfortunately the core does not show that it is compatible in Cura. In the logs Cura shows "we received an unknown container ID (Addigy_F2045_ultimaker_s5_AA_0.8)" I also tried to remove the ® characters from the materials description, but this did not help either. Is there someone that knows how one can experiment with this?
  4. I saw a solution that someone was selling on an online site
  5. 🤔 I've seen layer shifts on the X axis on my printers since the 9.0.0 update. Maybe this was similar.

  7. Since the 9.0.0 update I've noticed X layer shifts in some of my builds. It wasn't there before. The shifts differ in the amount, but I've only seen it on the X axis. It usually happens in over night prints. Have other people noticed this? I'll start collecting logs of these.
  8. What firmware are you running?
  9. Hi, I use the procedure included in the link below. You can get a reader online for about 20-50 eur. The tags are about 10-20ct per piece on aliexpress. I have a fork of the original repository that has a couple of tweaks. If you use it and find problems, please give feedback
  10. My printers just notified me that version 9.0.0 is available for download. No further notification came by elsewhere (that I could find). What is new? Will a new Cura be required to deploy new features?
  11. Tried to reproduce this, but it is not happening now. If it does, then I'll report the 3mf EDIT: After post, the changes were considered and the cause was found. With 2mm XY support avoidance, it looks good, with 3mm XY avoidance it produces the strange behaviour. 2mm XY avoidance will do it for me, but it will be nice to know how one can influence this. 12. For my model I have a groove. In the groove I'm adding support. To aid in removing the support I increased the X/Y distance. The first layer bridging the roof of the groove is in a direction that is less advantageous. Below is a screenshot of this. The second layer above this has the lines running diagonally. This is far better. Here is a screenshot of this. How can I tweak Cura that the first layer of the roof is diagonal?
  13. I run with simple 25mm tags on the stock reader and it works fine. Just stick them close to the core as possible.
