  1. That's apparently how I figured it out. I removed the comments in the highlighted lines in bold (the text after the semicolon). See above. A functional startup script is like this: ; X5SA Start CodeG21; Set units to millimetersG90; Set all axis to AbsoluteM82;; Uncomment the line below to enable ABL Mesh probing;G29 ; Probe bed mesh for ABL; For best results do not run nozzle heater while performing ABLM107 T0; Disable all fans M140 S{material_bed_temperature_layer_0} M104 S{material_print_temperature_layer_0} T0 M190 S{material_bed_temperature_layer_0} M109 S{material_print_temperature_layer_0} T0 G28; Home all axisG1 Z15.0 F6000; Raise nozzle to prevent scratching of heat bedG1 X0 Y0 ; Move nozzle to Home before heatingG0 E3 F200G92 E0 ; Set Extruder position to zero; Uncomment the following lines to enable nozzle purge line along left edge of bed;G1 Z2.0 F3000 ; Raise Z axis;G1 X1.1 Y20 Z0.2 F3600.0 ; Move to purge line start position;G1 Y220 F1500.0 E10 ; Draw first purge line;G1 X1.4 F3600.0 ; Move to the side;G1 Y20 F1500.0 E20 ; Draw second purge line;G92 E0 ; Reset Extruder;G1 Z2.0 F3000 ; Move Z Axis up a little to prevent scratching of Heat Bed;G1 X5 Y20 Z0.2 F3600.0 ; Move over to finish nozzle wipe;G92 E0
  2. I also found out the following The supplied test print model contains this gcode sequence: M82 ;absolute extrusion mode G21 G90 M82 M107 T0 M140 S40 M104 S200 T0 M190 S40 M109 S200 T0 This sequence reliably heats the nozzle and the bed and waits for printing until the correct temperature is reached I also adjusted the startup sequence for my printer accordingly: ; X5SA Start Code G21; Set units to millimeters G90; Set all axis to Absolute M82 ; ; Uncomment the line below to enable ABL Mesh probing ;G29 ; Probe bed mesh for ABL ; For best results do not run nozzle heater while performing ABL M107 T0; Disable all fans M140 S{material_bed_temperature_layer_0} ; Set bed temperature M104 S{material_print_temperature_layer_0} T0 ; Set nozzle temp M190 S{material_bed_temperature_layer_0} ; Set bed temperature and wait M109 S{material_print_temperature_layer_0} T0 ; Set nozzle temperature and wait G28; Home all axis G1 Z15.0 F6000; Raise nozzle to prevent scratching of heat bed G1 X0 Y0 ; Move nozzle to Home before heating G0 E3 F200 G92 E0 ; Set Extruder position to zero ; Uncomment the following lines to enable nozzle purge line along left edge of bed ;G1 Z2.0 F3000 ; Raise Z axis ;G1 X1.1 Y20 Z0.2 F3600.0 ; Move to purge line start position ;G1 Y220 F1500.0 E10 ; Draw first purge line ;G1 X1.4 F3600.0 ; Move to the side ;G1 Y20 F1500.0 E20 ; Draw second purge line ;G92 E0 ; Reset Extruder ;G1 Z2.0 F3000 ; Move Z Axis up a little to prevent scratching of Heat Bed ;G1 X5 Y20 Z0.2 F3600.0 ; Move over to finish nozzle wipe ;G92 E0 Despite the fact that slicing adds this sequence to the gcode, neither the bed nor the nozzle will start heating up immediately, and the printing will start - the print head will start moving. On the printer display, you can see that the temperature is switched on immediately after starting the print. If I overwrite the opening sequence with the opening sequence in the generated file, then heating starts immediately and printing waits until the desired temperature is reached. There is generate gcode from Cura: ;FLAVOR:Marlin ;TIME:1646 ;Filament used: 1.37576m ;Layer height: 0.15 ;MINX:144 ;MINY:144 ;MINZ:0.2 ;MAXX:186 ;MAXY:186 ;MAXZ:19.96 ;Generated with Cura_SteamEngine 5.3.0 M82 ;absolute extrusion mode ; X5SA Start Code G21 ; Set units to millimeters G90 ; Set all axis to Absolute M82 ; ; Uncomment the line below to enable ABL Mesh probing ;G29 ; Probe bed mesh for ABL ; For best results do not run nozzle heater while performing ABL M107 T0; Disable all fans M140 S40 ; Set bed temperature M104 S200 T0 ; Set nozzle temp M190 S40 ; Set bed temperature and wait M109 S200 T0 ; Set nozzle temp and wait G28 ; Home all axis Unfortunately, I cannot explain why the Printer does not accept this generated code.
  3. I bought a Tronxy X5SA PRO and I have a problem - the Ultimaker Cura5.3.0 software generates G-code without preheating the nozzle and bed. Maybe I have the printer set up correctly. What am I doing wrong?
