Heatsink fan stays on 24/7 (Not an issue but a... request?) :D

First off, I know the fan is hard wired to turn on the second the machine is on. However, is there some way to "fix" this? A controller or something to solve this? I though I read somewhere that when the extruder goes above 40C the fan will turn on, don't recall how to get this but... Yea.

    This is unfortunately not possible on the older UM2, a possible cure is to change the fan to a Sunon that is very quite.

    The newer UM2s come with a new board that has the ability to control the fan and turn it off when the temp is lower than 40°c (with firmware 15.04), so the only way i know would be to buy that new board but it's quite expensive for just that purpose...
