Modified Ooze Shield

After a layer I like to move my hot end to hover over the Ooze Shield while the retiring extruder cools down and the new extruder warms up for my dual extrusion parts.  This prevents bad strings from occurring as the retiring extruder moves back over the print.  If it's still a little bit warm it can string onto the print.  Is it possible to update Cura or write a plug in that allows users to run g-code when the extruder moves to the Ooze Shield?  It would be a big help. I currently have to use KISSlicer when I want to do this, but I'd like to do this in Cura.
