set cura as default program

Posted · set cura as default program

How can i set cura (14.09) as the default program to open .STL file? i decided to give the newest version a look, and instantly regretted it, i have little time to learn a whole new interface, so decided to go back, but after un-installing the latest version, i can no longer double click an .STL file, and it open with cura.

also as i cant track down 14.09's .exe I cant associate the file type with it. I'm also reluctant to reinstall 14.09 as i have so many settings custom for my machine so it prints right, any help appreciated, many thanks!
