Replacing temperature sensor

Recommended Posts

Posted · Replacing temperature sensor

Hi!

I broke the temperature sensor while I was installing the Olson block.

I bought a new sensor, and now when I´m about to replace it, I can´t rise the bed so I can get to the 2 screws under the bed that holds the shield for the electronic parts underneath the printer. When I start my Um2 I get the message ERROR temperature sensor and can't do anything from there.

Any suggestions? I found this guide https://ultimaker.com/en/support/view/255-re-assembly but still don´t know how I can rise the bed.

Just turn off power to the printer and manually pull it up. Grab the platform towards the back of the printer so that you don't bend it.
