Can we convert units?

I have a file where, when loaded, the part shows up extremely small on the build plate.

The artist who made the part said this is a common problem solved by converting the units in my software. He suggested doing so in Netfab.

I looked around Cura and didn't see a means to do this, unless I missed it?

STLs do not have units. Cura assumes 1 = 1mm.

edit: I'm strictly against a settings which would make Cura interpreting the numbers as barbaric - oops - I meant imperial - units.
