Posted · Faster is slower ???

Hi everyone , Has any of you notice is you increases the print speeds in cura it takes longer to actually print a part??

Example: I printed a model at 60mms outer shell and over all print speed of 80 mms in the cura setting boxes it took 1:04 to print , then same model, with 80mm outer shell and 105mms over all cura settings, that same model took 1:16 to print. any clue as why this is ?

Could be that you're hitting the "Minimum layer time" and it is slowing down to compensate. is it a smallish model you're trying to print?
