Cura not working

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited) · Cura not working

Hey fellas!

I am new at this and I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue. I have been working on my printer trying to get it to work for about 6 months now (I know its a lot) and I have had many issues with it. I have a MINTEMP issue with my extruder so I decided to buy a new thermistor for it and see if that fixed it....well I honestly have no clue anymore....the printer once connected to my computer and Cura I tell it to print then i tell it to connect. It starts "connecting" then after about 30 seconds it says "closed" and I have no clue why It wont let me print! I am not very experienced with this so please help me out.

Thanks

Max

Hi Max,

I was wondering if you managed to solve this issue already?

Do you have an Ultimaker Original or an Ultimaker 2?

Are you attempting to print over USB?

Looking forward hearing from you!

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue. It begins by saying 'connecting' but after short time says 'closed'

Did you manage to find a fix?

Thanks

Our efforts consist of 2 layers. First; connect medical institutions and hospitals to (local) 3D Printing hubs to help them print parts of which a 3D model already exists. And second, contribute to design the necessary part and then have it printed via a (local) 3D printing hub. Experts are available from within Ultimaker and from within our network of 3D printing experts.
