A (new) logo for Cura: suggestions

Recommended Posts

I commented on then through PM, so let me add my comments here.

I think the first bunch are a bit too 80s / NASA.

I like the last one. But whatever it will be, I have to talk with people here at UM. We might just use the robot as icon :p but that one doesn't scale very well to 16x16 and 24x24

Well, they decided otherwise:

This is what we're using right now. Designed by Martijn.

I can't speak for anyone else but for me the logo is at the very bottom of the priority list :)

A bit strange, if a logo isn't top priority, then why did they bother designing one themselves?

But hey no hard feelings, maybe our designs helped them designing there own. :D

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
