Nope it's a model I found long ago

I just use a flat metal part and check that the distance from belt to pulley it's the same from both sides, or symmetrical at least. This (if you don't do it) can cause the belt to slip over the pulley and it does a weird noise I hate :D Ofc this never happened since I do that and moved to the better GT2 belt/pulleys (always a great upgrade on any umo+, but totally unrelated to your problem)

Could you check that the x/y hotend thin shafts are properly aligned, with the small wood piece that tightens the assembly not 'way too tight'. I ask because I was able to do something like the first video, because the x shaft was way too tight on my system, making a way too weird noise when homing.

Try to relax a bit the slideblock part that holds the shafts in place, not too much, just a little bit to see if the movement becomes better.

    I'm done putting everything back together again. I didn't go too tight with the xy head shafts either. It's A LOT quieter then before.

    Also - It's currently printing like a champ!

    You want the pulleys as close as possible to the stepper motors (not as close as possible to the end of the shaft). But not touching. So about 0.5mm gap is good. Otherwise the belt will touch the wood (it's subtle) and you will get leaning prints instead of vertical prints.

        Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time.
