I just released Mineways, a free (and open source) program that takes a model in a Minecraft world and exports it for 3D printing. I aimed it to work well with Shapeways, since not everyone has a 3D printer (yet), but the program exports to STL, OBJ, and VRML, so should be generally useful. It's dead simple to use; Windows executable, but runs under Wine on Linux (and I assume the Mac). I'm interested in seeing whether it suits your printer, so let me know if you use it.

Some result pics here. (and yes it's supposed to be blocky - Minecraft is all about the blocky)
