This indeed is a video card driver issue. I have 1 machine that does the same thing, and tried everything and the only thing that works is disabling an optimization which speeds up rendering 20 fold.

    Same prob here.

Only can I see the model when I use the third tab "Show model borders" witch give me a mesh model look.

Where can we change the aptimization speed rendering?

You'll have to edit the preview.py file, search for 9999 and add a few extra 9 behind that.

    Hi Daid,

GREAT work you've done so far!!!

Didn't found the preview.py anywhere in the Cura12.11 map. So a little help is welcome.

Thx 4 your great work Daid!

have taken a look to preview3d.py but don't find a line with 9999.

found finally how to do a search inside a file...

inside the explorer find you can specify more tags like (dutch):" *.py inhoud: 9" witch give all the py files with 9 in the text.

Result: no file's matching in the directory of Cura_12.11

Can you help me out of this?

    Greetz

The windows search thing doesn't work at all. It only searches in microsoft file formats.

Hi. I'm having same problems in Win 64bit found the the file preview3d.py C:/Program Files(x86)/Cura_12.11/gui but no line of code with 9999 in it, checked several times, could you perhaps put it into context with preceding lines or even a screen shot. I'm on the cusp of buying a machine but want to do some tests first. Thanks

You are right. Should have used findstr. Will edit my previous post.

Still, didn 't found the parameter.

Inside the cura/GUI map type in the powershell

    Or start run powershell

Cd program files (x86) cura12.11 cura gui

    Findstr 999 *.py

    My bad, it's in opengl.py, "batchSize = 999" set that to 99999

I have never gotten the preview window in Cura to work on any newer windows machines - it's just blank. I have an old machine that runs XT and it works fine on that, but not on my new PC.

My Graphics card is GeForce GT 530 and i'm running windows 7 64bit.
