Cura version numbering

Recommended Posts

Posted · Cura version numbering

I'm using Cura on Linux, Help->About Cura shows me only components list and its licences, Title bar shows Cura 15.04.5. Also Download page offers me 15.04.5 version or 2.1.1 (beta). Here is discussion about 2.1.1.

Little question: some open SW changed recently version numbering from major.minor scheme to year.month.minor scheme; Ultimaker goes oposite way (from year.month to major.minor scheme)?

We changed the version numbering. 2.1.1 (Major, minor, rev) is the newest.
