· Different Slicing from the Original Model
Hi,
the red part on the X-ray view tell that you have an error on your 3D model. I am not an expert but i think it can happen because of holes in the mesh, wrong normal ect... You can check if your model is correct until someone with more experience come here.
Can you show us a picture of the model if possible ?
ps : you may have already solve your problem... haven't see the date -.-

If you created your model in Sketchup, you can download the Solid Inspector extension. It will tell you if you have holes in your mesh, stray edges or internal surfaces - any of which could cause this issue.

We don't often release an alpha version of Ultimaker Cura... So what's different this time? This Alpha contains such a huge slicing engine overhaul that we really need your help!
We wish to celebrate and honor the innovators that push forward the field, technology and world. We opted to not present it as a competition or ranked list. Every innovator has earned his spot on that list in their own way. We also look at the 3D printing industry as a whole and not limit the list to those only using Ultimaker.
