Can I fit a Ultimaker 2 print platform/Heat bed to a Ultimaker original?

I have an original Ultimaker and have a DIY heat bed. Looking online there are cheap(relatively) UM2 print beds/heated beds available, and they look identical to the heat bed upgrade (which is double the price once you consider freight ie here). Theoretically, can I use it on my UMO? Whilst my current setup works great, I would prefer a sturdier all metal bed, and the idea of a 3 point bed levelling system also appeals.

Hi,

Normally yes you can install it to your UMO. That's in fact what exactly correspond to an UMO+
