Change material profile on Cura

Posted · Change material profile on Cura

Hi all, i use the latest Cura's version, the 2.1.3. But i don't can change the material.. I use an Ultimaker 2, and if i create a new machine's profile with an Ultimaker 2+ everything works fine..how can i do resolve this problem?

You resolve the problem by installing the latest version of Cura which is 2.3

FYI it's still beta. So you find it in the beta list.... so far it looks pretty stable to me....

Thanks for the replys.. But with cura 2.3 the problem remain.. (p.s. this beta work only on mac, on windows 10 PRO 64 bit crash during the loading process)

For the UM2 there are no separate material profiles; the temperatures and fan settings are handled in the machine. For the UM2+ the profiles are material dependent so here you do see the material profiles.

Note that if you have a UM2, and you don't want to select materials on the printer, you can use the "Machine Settings" button on the "Printers" pane of the preferences to set the gcode flavor to "Reprap (Marlin)". This will enable full material support as well as fix USB printing.
