Where are the Expert Settings?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I have had an issue with two models by now, and I'm almost certain that the Fix Horrible setting in the Expert Settings would be able to fix it.  However, after scouring the internet, repeatedly pressing Ctrl + E in hopes that it would work, and searching every square inch of Cura, I have yet to find the Expert Settings.  Don't get me wrong, Cura is awesome; I just need to find these (obnoxiously hidden) settings.  Thank you!

I assume you're talking about Cura 2.X

Those settings are now under "Mesh Fixes" after you've switched over to the "Custom" mode. You might have to add the settings in via Preferences -> Configure Cura, click on Settings and then put a check box on all the settings you want visible.

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
