Updating to Cura 2.5 from Cura 2.3.1 and saving Printer settings

Posted · Updating to Cura 2.5 from Cura 2.3.1 and saving Printer settings

Hello everybody, I have been using Cura 2.3.1 for a while already with no problem on my Anet A8 printer, which is why I have been reluctant to updates. However, I would like to update Cura to the current 2.5 version to try and improve my printing quality.

Is there a way of not having to setup my printer settings again from scratch? Maybe importing or saving the settings I'm currently using on Cura 2.3.1? Once I install Cura 2.5, will that overwrite Cura 2.3.1 completely?
