Posted · First draft of a project I´m working on

http://www.phuntec.com/media/draft1_commercial.mp4

Scanned my face with my 3D scanner setup, simplified it to remove the details on it to have a basic shape of my face without eyes and mouth.

Printed quite big in white.

Making a video from myself talking about my projects and projected this video on top of the scan.

This is a first draft just to test the effect and it scared me the first time I saw it :)

It makes me think about the Johnny Cab scene from the old Total Recall for some reason.

The idea is to put this talking face on my stand when I go to fairs or in my studio to show to people and have it talk about any project I`m working on.

Another feature I´m working on with this setup is to have my face as a cgi animation that can be controlled by kinect input. So my eyes will follow you around when you move around the face.
